1 Peter 2:9
But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own
special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of
darkness into His marvelous light;
Believers in
Christ have a job to do, God's Word spells it out for us,
To Him we
are special and He tell us so in this verse we are about to discuss.
To be
chosen,royal,holy and special is more than we can take,
And to think
He called us from darkness to Him, why would we now forsake.
So now we
proclaim Him to all who will hear, this wonderful message of light,
And urge
them to surrender their souls to His care, acknowledging his power and might. (RP)
Lasts night and until Wednesday night, our church is hosting Pastor Kiyle Decker, his wife Anissa, and their children to our church. Last night a potluck meal was enjoyed by all who attended, followed by a get-acquainted time. It was a wonderful time together, and we look forward to more this morning and the next few days. Yesterday I continued working on our book, and was able to get 20 more chapters printed. Thanks so much for praying.
