WE DON'T EVEN UNDERSTAND

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. Eph 3: 20-21

We cannot really comprehend how powerfully in us God has done his mighty work.

When it comes to prayer, we cannot out "ask" Him; this duty we should never shirk.

He's working every day of our lives, to show us the power that works mightily inside.

To Him we give the glory, and want to always and forever in His presence abide. (RP)

SOWING AND REAPING

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.    Galatians 6:7-8

Sowing and reaping are a part of life; the laws of nature work,

And humans also reap results for things that annoy and irk.

Some try to hide themselves from God, but they are very wrong,

God will not be mocked by men, because His ways are strong.

To him who sows evil, corruption will come; this is bad for man,

Sowing to the Spirit of God brings joy; this is God's noble plan. (RP)

IS YOU LIGHT TURNED ON?

Matthew 5:16   "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

This is a decision YOU must make, but it's Jesus' command for sure.

He wants the world to see Jesus in us, so they'll know we are secure.

When the world sees what we have, they'll want it too; this is our goal.

So, believer, shine for Jesus, so that many more in heaven will enroll. (RP)

NO CONDEMNATION

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. Romans 8:1

Free from condemnation is something most people long for.

Jesus did exactly this because our sin He would not ignore.

He died on the cross to set each of us free from that awful sin.

We received forgiveness, and now by His Spirit, we are in. (RP)

The words we speak are powerful, they tell people what's inside.

They tell others very quickly, if we've invited Jesus in us to abide.

Ask Him daily to help you by watching over the door of your lips.

THINK THIS ONE OVER

Isaiah 55:8-9    Ro 11:33 Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!

We never can expect to think like God, but we can really see what He is doing.

His thoughts surpass us and we fully understand; we better just stop stewing .

God works in such mysterious ways; It's more wonderful than we can describe.

Relax and trust your life to Him; He knows best, and to this we better subscribe.

We are the branches, and He is the vine;  to this we humbly subscribe.

Abiding in Christ gives power to bear much fruit; this is our goal today.

Stop, dear believer, and read this verse well; It has much to say to you.

God wants to complete the good work He began in you; think this through?

Allow Him to work in you what pleases Him; what a decision this would be!

Decide now to give in to Him; you will give glory to Jesus for all eternity.

LEARNING TO WAIT PATIENTLY

Ps 37:7  Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.

There are so many things that cause us to worry; two are given right here.

We fret over those who prosper, and others whose practices are cavalier.

God tells us we should rest in Him, and patiently wait for Him to do His work.

When we listen to Him, and do what He says, it will definitely give us a perk. (RP)

To be in Christ, means you are born again; you are a child of God.

But if you are outside of Christ, you are in a very different mod.

I trust you will come to Jesus, and let Him cleanse your life from sin.

When I feel so weak, and my spirit is vexed, and wonder what I should do.

I know there is help, because the Bible tells me; it's something I pursue.

God strengthens me at my weakest point, and helps me through that spot.

WATCH YOUR TONGUE

"But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so."  James 3:8-10

  

How deceitfully our tongue plays tricks on us; we foul up all the time.

The things that come out are scandalous, and it really is a crime.

Never let blessing and cursing be heard, coming from your tongue.

Let Jesus rule your tongue; blessings will then flow from the old and the young.

STOP LOOKING AT YOURSELF

"Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others." (Philippians 2:3-4)

We're so used to looking at ourselves, that we don't have time for others.

Caring about YOU and what you want, gets old, and someone suffers.

Let us learn to esteem others more than self, and begin to look around.

You will find many to reach out to, and for sure you'll be on better ground.  (RP)

A TALL ORDER, BUT ATTAINABLE

"Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep."  Romans 12:15

 On the surface of this command, a difficult order is seen.

We seem to have trouble, and need someone to intervene.

God is here to help us, empathize with those who weep.

When people rejoice, we rejoice, 

and this
