Acts 10:43
To Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins.
The HIM in our verse means Jesus; all the prophets wrote about Him,
The Bible is full of Jesus, and if any disagree, they are out on a limb.
The prophets plainly spoke of Him, in the Old Testament long ago,
And the Scriptures paint word pictures of Him, that with rare beauty glow.
The message of all these stories is this, Jesus will save you from sin,
And those who receive Him as Savior will have His peace and love within.(RP)
Our friend flew back from Salem yesterday and is doing okay with this weather. Even though there is still some smoke, she says it's tolerable. Today our son and his wife are coming to work on their Vista property. In the afternoon we will all be at the church for the 50th anniversary celebration of Roger and Ilene Engler. We look forward to this. Thanks for praying.
