Psalm 145:18 The LORD is near to all who call
upon Him,To all who call upon Him in truth.
The matter of prayer is a serious
thing for all who claim His name,
Some are half hazard and some are sincere,
some treat it like a game.
But the Lord said He's near to those calling upon
Him,
So be truthful when praying and you'll be filled to the brim.(RP)
The memorial service went well yesterday with a very large attendance. I received a message as soon as we got home that the elder who was to preach Sunday is sick and cannot do it. He asked if I could do it. I am glad to serve, so today I have prepared the outline and will give it to the church secretary via email shortly. We leave in a couple of hours for the Bible study at the Center. Thanks for praying.
