Rose buds

John 15:4-5
Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

Abiding in Christ - His provision for us. What a wonderful place to be,
And to think He abides in us. This is so wonderful to see.
We cannot bear fruit alone, we must be in the Vine,
Abiding in the Him brings joy and truly our lives do shine.
Bearing fruit for the Master is our service, we cannot do it alone
,Eternity will reveal our works when we bring sinners to His throne.
I know that I can do nothing without my Savior's aid,
But all that I do is for Him and all the credit upon him is laid.(RP)

When our daughter Joy died, we purchased a rose bush. The name is Knock-out Pink.  It's our constant reminder of Joy.  I water it daily, give it Miracle Gro weekly.  Last night when watering, I counted 141 buds on it, and stopped counting.  It is amazing.  What a pleasant memory it gives us!  I am in the last phase of correcting the edited pages of our book.  I will then print a copy to be read again.  After that Laurel said she wanted to read it once more.  We are happy with her thoroughness.  Thanks so much for praying.  Today is physical therapy for Margie.

Finally

Philippians 4:6
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.

We all are anxious to some degree, and the Lord speaks now to us,
Listen up to the advice He gives and put a stop to your fuss.
If we would pray as He ordains and thank Him more and more,
We'd be blessed so very much, and there would be more in store(RP)

With a dandy little sweeper that picks up dirt so easily, Margie has used it almost daily.  It is light, battery operated so there are no cords to trip over.  This has made me very lazy as I continued my book work.  Yesterday I decided it was about time for me to get the vacuum out and give the house a thorough cleaning.  So I did.  I also dusted.  I had the time because we, at the moment, do not have any pages book pages to clean up and put in the final manuscript.  Today perhaps more will be ready.  Tomorrow was supposed to be the deadline for us to qualify for a Christmas promotion of our book, but we know that will not happen.  That's ok.   Thanks so much for praying.

Challenges

John 6:5
And Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.

Food and water are the mainstays of life, without them we would die,
Spiritually so we need them too and Jesus is the one who can supply.
He is the water of life, and spiritual food He freely offers to all,
And His offer is for everyone in the world, whether you are great or small.
Come to Jesus who will give you life; drink deeply from His well,
Start anew with this message of hope, and to others gladly tell.
With Jesus as Savior, you will never thirst spiritually again,
Why not decide right now to spread the blessed word and begin(RP)

We all face challenges.  Our book is still challenging us daily.  This is not a negative.  We enjoy what we are doing.  There are processes that have to take place. For each person we suppose the way these things are handled matters much.  We are novices, and have much to learn.  Thanks for praying about this matter for us.  We appreciate it.  Yesterday we took our son out for a meal.  We had a nice time.  He returned home right after that.

Great day

1 Peter 5:6-7
Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

Humble Christians are God's desire for every one of us,
For all who follow His command for them it is a plus.
He exalts each one who humbly walks this road,
Cast your care on Him, He will gladly take your load.(RP)

Rawlie is with us and we have enjoyed having his company.  He goes back today.  He and all the family were here for the Old Settlers activities, mainly the parade yesterday.  We will be in church this morning and I will spend the rest of the day trying to complete the edited pages for our book.  As you have heard through this site, it is quite a process but we love every minute of it.  WE trust you all have a good day.  Thanks for your prayers,

Busy day

James 4:13-14
Come now, you who say, Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit. whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. Instead you ought to say,If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that.

It's natural for us to be in control, we want to run our ship,
But something's missing we forget and often easily skip.
Making our plans without the Lord, leads to a big surprise,
Because our life is a vapor and acting this way is unwise.
We know not what tomorrow holds so speak no words in haste,
Depend upon the Lord, and you will not be disgraced.
Learn to say from you heart each day,This I'll do If the Lord wills,
And I know beyond a doubt this will enrich and give you many thrills.(RP)

A bright sunny day greeted us.  Our family will be busy attending the festivities of the Old Settlers Parade and other activities of the day.  Margie and I will not attend.  It is too challenging for Margie.  We are more than content to remain here.  I want to continue anyway, on the Brazil book details.  Thank you for your prayers,

Old Settlers Association

Psalm 71:6 By You I have been upheld from birth; You are He who took me out of my mother's womb. My praise shall be continually of You.

Our loving Lord has watched me from before the cradle to the grave,
And when I trusted Him as Lord, He all my sins forgave.
He cares for me all along the way and I praise Him now for this,
If I do not continually praise Him, I surely have been remiss(RP)

July 25-28 is the Ferndale Old Settlers activities.  We will not be going to any of them, but some of our family members will be up today to participate.  It is a well-attended event here in our city and has been happening for many years.  Yesterday was prayer meeting for us and we always enjoy being with those who attend.  Today is hair day for Margie.  We will also go by Laurel Hick's place to pick up more finished copies of the Brazil book.  As mentioned, Gina and probably Monique will be here this afternoon.  It will be an active day.  Thanks so much for praying.

Delight

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.1 Peter 5:8

We cannot waste a minute in our vigil with the Lord,
The devil seeks to get us, his wrath on us outpoured.
He never gives up, and his enemies he constantly pursues,
And we must never give in because his motive is to confuse.
Our defense is sober living and vigilance from above,
All this bathed in prayer, and our Savior's mighty love. (RP)

Yesterday we were delighted to have lunch with Lillian King in Lynden.  She attended our church when I was pastor.  Now in her 90th year, it was nice to fellowship with her while we enjoyed a meal at Dutch Mothers, in Lynden. I took the last set of manuscript pages for Laurel to read.  There are a lot of them so it will take awhile.  Margie had her physical therapy yesterday and it went well.  We appreciate your prayer support.

Glitch

The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?  Psalms 27:1

Believers are the light of the world; in Jesus there is true light,
In Him there is salvation and strength, and the assurance of no fright.
How wonderful to walk with the Savior every step of every day,
Trusting Him as we walk in His footsteps all along this pilgrim way. (RP)

When I printed the Brazil book manuscript, the printer apparently played a trick on me and left out (did not print) about a 100 pages. That was a real surprise, when Laurel told me that the pages stopped with the title of one of our stories.  I was shocked.  So now I take another 100 pages to her this morning.  Marge has physical therapy in  Lynden this morning also. The weather is warm and we enjoy our evaporation coolers.  Thanks for your prayer support.

Foggy

The name of the LORD is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe.
Proverbs 18:10

There is power in the name of the Lord, like a very strong tower,
A place where one can take refuge from someone trying to devour.
God's children find safety in Him as they run for help to this place,
And the consolation He gives is a reminder, of His love and grace. (RP)

We were surprised by being met with a pretty dense fog this morning here on the hill in Ferndale.  The weatherman said a cooling trend is on the way.  Yesterday we did a considerable amount of shopping in Bellingham.  Marge saw the foot doctor at her regular visit to his office.  But a serious pain which started in one of her toes last Thursday concerned her.  The doctor trimmed the nails, hoping to prevent further episodes of this discomfort bit could find nothing else out of order.  We hope that works.  We are waiting for more edited pages to transfer to the final manuscript of our book.  Please pray we will be able to meet deadlines from the publisher.  Thanks so much for praying.

Joybells

John 1:11-12
He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:

When Jesus came to the Jews, He was not received by them.
And because of this rejection, all He could do was condemn.
But when Jesus is received, eternal life to them He imparts,
They become children of God, receiving cleansed, pure hearts.(RP)

Yesterday was our daughter Joy's (Joybells) one year anniversary of being in heaven.  The beautiful rose bush we got when she died has graced us with a bountiful supply of flowers.  Now there are at least 35 or 40 buds getting ready to bloom.  We have such fond memories of Shepherds who cared for her 45 years. What a great release for her when the Lord took her home.  Many of you supported and prayed for her those years.  We are grateful.  And thanks for your faithful help to us in prayer.

Sunday

Psalm 119:103
How sweet are Your words to my taste, Sweeter than honey to my mouth.

Your words oh God are sweet to me, how I love to read your Book,
Help me each time I examine it, at my Savior to take a look,
Your words are sweeter than honey to me, they satisfy my soul,
I want you to fill me with Your power and love, to have me in your control.(RP)

We look forward to church time today.  The night went well with Margie.  Our church has a picnic today in Lynden, WA but we will not be going.  It is just too hard for Margie.  We are content here at home, listening and watching programs on the TV.  But Sunday School and the service at our church this morning will be a blessing to attend. Thanks for your prayer support.

Cooler

James 4:3
You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.

We are careless with prayer, and amazed when answers don't come.
Many are discouraged about this matter and they are very mum.
We often mess up in prayer I know, because we ask for wrong things,
Selfishness reigns in our carnal hearts, and misery to us it brings.
Put God first in your prayer, not wanting priority for me,
And God will bless with answers supreme: do it and you will see.(RP)

It is cool this morning but by afternoon it will be in the 70s.  We do have wonderful weather here.  Our front flower garden (small) looks so good with lively colors greeting us.  And the hanging basket is beautiful.  This is the first time in my life I have done gardening.  Margie always did it before.  I only mowed the lawn. Margie had a good night and we are thankful.  There seem to be endless items to care for regarding the Brazil book.  When we receive more edited pages, we will clean them and get them into the final document. Thanks for your prayer support.

Friday schedule

For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them..
Matthew 18:20

When Christians gather to pray, blessings come to them,
If lack of prayer prevails, from this other problems stem.
God's presence is with those who gather to pray,
And His faithful followers, will not soon stray.(RP)

Friday rolls so quickly these days.  Do you know what we mean?  Today we have a regular schedule that with the Lord's help, we will endeavor to fulfill.  Margie had a good night.  Yesterday at prayer meeting, we had to leave.  Her toe was aching so badly that her leg was in spasms.  Her foot specialist had no available time slot for her, so we went home, she removed her socks, and elevated her leg.  That did help a lot and today she is gently trying to get some shoes on for the trip down the hill later on.   Thanks so much for pray.  She has an appointment with the foot specialist anyway on Monday so I requested they add that to the list so the doctor would look at it.

Activity

John 14:26
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.

The Holy Spirit is our Helper and teaches us all things,
Because of this we rejoice always and our heart sings,
He helps when we forget, so we remember what He said,
There's more He does for us, so just keep looking ahead.(RP)

There was plenty of activity yesterday.  We touched down in three towns: Ferndale, Lynden, and Bellingham.  Margie has physical therapy, a doctor's appointment, and in the late afternoon we had an invite for a meal.  What a day.  I also went through quite a few pages of the Brazil book manuscript, transferring the corrections to the final copy.  Never a dull moment.  I took the laptop and worked on these while Margie was at her appointments.   Thanks for praying.

Celebration

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
Philippians 4:6

We are prone to get nervous and uptight about much, but God urges us to trust Him,
When anxiety takes over and we're not in control, take to God your every whim.
Learn to pray and petition God and thank Him as you make your request,
And the results will be great and you'll know without a doubt that you are blessed.(RP)

Janet Shroyer whose husband was pastor in our church for a few years, is visiting the northwest.  Her husband, Bill died in March.  She and the Borakers were here and Margie had made a gluten free dump cake.  With ice cream it was delicious.  We had such a nice visit.   Laurel Hicks also finished reading 40 plus pages more of our Brazil book manuscript.  I will make suggested changes in those while I am waiting for Margie's appointments today.  Thanks so much for praying.  Margie had a pretty good night.

Happy Birthday

 James 4:7
Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

God's order is right, because He knows the way things should be,
Submit to Him, then life will take on new meaning; we all agree.
The devil wants us to do wrong,so please listen to God today,
Submitting to God pays off and the devil will then go away.(RP)

This is Margie's day.  Our family celebrated her day Sunday.  Today we will have a leisurely day at home.  It is very mild outside this morning and temperatures will be in the 80s this afternoon.  I rewrote one of our Brazil book stories yesterday and will do some more misc. touch ups on other parts of the publisher's requirements before we submit the manuscript.  We thank you for praying.

Fun time

Mt 7:1
If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him.

As sinful people are, they still know what their children need,
And some give their offspring very good gifts, and this is good indeed.
Our heavenly Father knows us best and the things we need each day,
And if we ask according to His will, good things He gives along the way.
(RP)

We had such a great time yesterday as Rawlie invited us to lunch to celebrate in advance Margie's birthday.  Then later all the family came to our home and brought dessert.  It was a very nice afternoon.  The weather was superb and in the late afternoon they left for Stanwood.  We spent part of the evening watching a couple of our favorite Christian programs. Today the weather's beautiful and we plan to continue on, doing final copy of the book manuscript.   Thanks for praying.

Another beautiful day

1 John 5:21
Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.

The thing we love more than God is an idol we should avoid,
These idols ruin lives and each one should be destroyed.
We are entreated to keep ourselves pure; God promises help for this,
So earnestly seek His power my friend, and never an opportunity miss.(RP)

Our son is here and his family will be here for lunch today to help celebrate in advance Margie's birthday.  We look forward to this.  We also are going to hear from missionaries from Indonesia at church this morning.  So we know it will be a great day.  Margie did not get to sleep very well last night so will sleep in more this morning.   Thanks for your prayers.

On course

Joshua 7:10
So the LORD said to Joshua: Get up! Why do you lie thus on your face?

God always wants us to pray, but sometimes we better get up and work,
We must use our time wisely for him and never our duty shirk.
There is a time for everything, so think clearly what God wants you to do,
Seek God's will in all you do and the blessings will come as His will you pursue(RP)

We are sure you get tired of hearing about our Brazil book.  Well one of these days we will finally get it to the publisher and then our efforts will be to try to sell the product.  Margie had a good night and we are thankful.  Today is beautiful and our flower garden is also.  For the first time in my life I am doing the gardening.  It is small and manageable and we enjoy it.  Thanks friends for praying.

It's Friday

Isaiah 48:17
Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: I am the LORD your God, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go.

How great is our God, our Redeemer and friend,
Who watches His own and upon Him we depend.
He teaches us much and leads day by day,
Our confidence is in Him and we want always to obey.
We are grateful to Him because he leads us along,
And with hearts filled with gladness we sing a new song.(RP)

Remember when Paul Harvey started his Friday broadcast with the title of our blog today?  Those were the days. There is plenty for us to do today.  The weather is beautiful, we had a good night's rest and we are ready for the day.  I will be trying to get some medicine for Margie and even though it is an over-the-counter product, it is hard to find.  I will keep trying.  We are sort of nearing the end of the book deal.  But as suggested by Helen Steele, we should have one more person read through it.  Thankfully we have Laurel Hicks doing that.  I printed it off yesterday and delivered it to her for her perusal. We are grateful she was willing to help with this.  Thanks for praying.  We appreciate you all.

Rejoicing

Mt 5:23-24
Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.

You may not like what God thinks of our relationships down here,
But you better do things His way in order to escape something severe.
Before you worship the Lord, think carefully what you have done.
You must reconcile your differences, never leaving these things undone.
When you make things right with the brethren, God surely looks and smiles,
And then when you worship next time, you know you have settled your trials.(RP)

The retina specialist said Margie's eye is doing better, gave another injection in the eye, and told us to return in 2 month.  Before we have seen him every month or so.  We are pleased and thank all who have prayed for her eye situation.  And we will continue to do so.  We are looking forward to a long time friend, Janet Shroyer to visit us today. Her husband Bill Shroyer was pastor of our church when we were missionaries in Brazil.  He recently died and she is revisiting our area this week.  Thanks folks for your prayers.

Specialist

Psalm 107:29
He calms the storm, So that its waves are still.

The Sovereign of the land and seas is the one who controls it all,
And what a comfort to know this, that upon Him we may call.
In the storms of life He's the one in control and all is beneath his command,
And every tempest our lives present to Him, they are all in His dear hand.
How comforting to know that He calms troubled seas, and makes them very still,
And He's the One to whom we can go, and earnestly for our lives seek His will. (RP)

Margie sees the retina specialist today.  We pray he will give a good report.  Last time it showed improvement.  We have very little shopping to do while in town and plan to be back home soon.  Pray as we put final touches on the Brazil book.  We realize these final touches can be time consuming as well, but it is all part of our getting things ready for the publisher.  Thanks so much for praying.

Progress

Remember these, O Jacob, And Israel, for you are My servant; I have formed you, you are My servant; O Israel, you will not be forgotten by Me!
Isaiah 44:21

What a Savior Israel has in the Lord our sovereign God.
He loves them with everlasting love, that is very deep and broad.
His chosen ones now serve Him and forgotten will never be,
So rejoice today dear Christians and join the glad jubilee.(RP)

We are sure you must tire of our Brazil book progress reports.  They have been many and close together.  It will still be this way for a few days we are sure.  But thankfully things are starting to gel now.  Yesterday Margie and I accomplished much and today we hope to repeat that.  The weather is fabulous and our evaporation coolers really are a blessing in the afternoon.  Thanks so much for praying.

Countdown

John 15:5
I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

To be in Christ is a desired place; our union with Him is so great,
Abiding in Him is the believer's joy, and to this everyone can relate.
Fellowship with Christ has its own rewards, fruit bearing is first on the list,
And He warns us so lovingly that without Him, we cannot persist.(RP)

Now we know for sure the countdown is here.  Our dear friend Helen Steele sent all the rest of the stories she edited.  Now we get things in order according to publisher requirements and get the master manuscript sent off.  I am thinking it will still take a few days.  But that is okay, we have been at it a long time.  Margie had a good night and much better than that last 3 or 4.  We are pleased with this.  And we thank you, as always, for your faithful prayer support.

Preaching

Matthew 6:30
Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

God's care for us is special indeed and his love is greater than all,
His provisions daily come our way whether we are great or small.
God gives us clothes and food for sure as a sign of his constant care,
And His mercies are new each and every day and special beyond compare.(RP)

Margie did not have a good night.  She is still sleeping as I write these lines.  I will awaken her at 7:30.  Today I preach at our church and I always enjoy this.  We are very concerned about our Sunday School teacher's wife, Cindy who remains in ICU at Harborview Hospital in Seattle with a possible brain aneurysm.  Chuck has been by her side and needs our support as well.  Thank you friends for your prayer support.  We appreciate it.

Kitchen work

Matthew 7:11
If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!

The lesson is plain for us today, God hears and answers prayer,
Parents take pride in giving good things to their children everywhere.
If they, so imperfect know how to give, what lesson is there for me?
To those who ask God, an answer will come, and this is so easy to see.
The lesson is this for all those who care; ask God for what you need,
And in His will, according to the need, an answer is guaranteed.(RP)

Margie and I will be doing things around here this morning.  I plan to put the final review of my sermon in printed form, and if time allows stuff some green peppers.  That's the ONLY thing I know how to do. It has become my specialty  I guess.  We both had good nights last night.  The day is beautiful and our flowers look bright and fresh in the garden.  The hanging basket is full and colorful.  For the first time in my 82 and a half years, I am taking care of the flowers.  We sincerely thank you for your prayers.

A delightful day

Psalm 147:1
Praise the LORD! For it is good to sing praises to our God; For it is pleasant, and praise is beautiful

Why is it so hard to praise the Lord and thank Him for all He has done,
Is it because we are lazy, and our heart is wrong, and this wonderful thing we shun?
God says praise is pleasant to Him and us, if we would just practice it now,
So why not start and praise the Lord and at His feet humbly bow.(RP)

It was a joy having our family here for part of the 4th.  Rawlie and Monique stayed here and the rest of the family came later for a lite lunch.  In the afternoon they went over to the Harder place and had a meal with more friends there.  We did not join them.  I wanted to spend more time in sermon preparation for Sunday.  We also got an update on Cindy Heath and thankfully tests showed she did not have an aneurysm.  But she will havae to remain in the hospital for 7-14 days.  Thanks to each of you for your faithful prayers.  We appreciate you.

Happy 4th of July

 John 8:36
Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

The world looks for freedom from so many different things,
And until they know about Jesus they don't know the joy He brings.
When we were lost in sin, and eternal destruction was our lot,
Jesus rescued us from this and our great salvation brought.
Oh how wonderful to have a Savior who makes us free indeed,
One who constantly watches over us and will gladly for us intercede. (RP)

We trust each is enjoying a wonderful 4th of July.  I am the first up around our household today.  All the rest are sleeping: Margie, Rawlie and Monique.  These lasts two arrived last night and will be here for the 4th of July festivities up at the Vista house, where Gina's folks lived.  Last night there were plenty of fireworks and we are not real sure if that was really allowed.  But we managed to get to sleep with all the noise anyway.  The weather has moderated some and today should only be around 70 degrees.  I am studying for Sunday's message in our church.  I look forward to that.  Our dear friend Cindy Heath yesterday suffered an aneurysm in her brain and was air lifted to Harbor view Hospital in Seattle.  She was stabilized and today will have further tests to determine the extent of the damage.  Chuck is with her.  We are praying much for her.  Thank you also for helping in prayer.

Studying

1 Thessalonians 5:17-18
Pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks;for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Oh what a command God gives us today, to pray without ceasing my friend,
We know this is right, so let's keep at it always, and on our dear Lord depend.
We thank Him so little; don't do this any more, let's begin to thank Him today,
And in praying and giving thanks to Him we know this is doing it God's way(RP)

We went to town yesterday and got some necessary shopping done in several places and returned home before noon.  We like to do it this way when ordinarily there are fewer people in the shops. I spent the day studying for Sunday when I am scheduled to preach at our home church.  I always look forward to this.  Margie did some baking in preparation for our family that will drop by on the 4th of July for a short visit while they are in town.  The weather has moderated some, but we are still using the evaporation coolers to make things comforatable in the house.  We are very thankful for them.  Thanks, dear friends for your payer support.

Cooler trend

Hebrews 10:23
Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.

Stand tall for Jesus is our call so stay true to what you believe,
Do not waver on this road, great promises you will receive.
Our hope is in Him, that's why we hold fast,as we walk from day to day,
We will be blessed more than words can tell as we continually do things His way. (RP)

Margie was relieved the weather was better yesterday.  Today is the same with cooler temperatures predicted. I spent most the day going through the Brazil book stories and giving a different emphasis to the Bible verses and references.  Our friend, Helen Steele made this suggestion which is very practical and we appreciate it.   Margie had a good night for which we are thankful.  Thanks for praying.

Hot

Job 1:1
There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was blameless and upright, and one who feared God and shunned evil.

More men are needed like Job, who are described as those we can admire,
To be blameless and upright is so special and to this all of us should aspire.
Job feared God and this made him shun evil, what a wonderful and worthy goal,
And because he chose always to please God, his life was made prosperous and whole.(RP)

Normally hot weather without air conditioners, can be a problem.  Long ago we learned that air in motions helps a lot.  Add to this 3 evaporation coolers and things are looking cooler already.  Margie was concerned about sleeping.  I set up two water coolers and two fans in the bedroom, and before too many hours we had the covers back on us.  It was great.  This morning the house is delightful inside because I have box fans in the windows drawing in cool breeze.  The game of keeping the house cool is fun and challenging.  Yesterday we had a great time at church and were thankful we could go. Margie was pretty pensive about her episode (choking, breathless attack) returning, but thankfully it did not happen.  Thanks so much for praying.
