BLESSED SLEEP

If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
2 Chronicles 7:14

What a wonderful promise we have in these words; something for us all,
God instructs us to do some important things when we upon Him call.
Humility ranks high as God looks at us; our attitude is important to Him,
Obedience in this is important to Him and life will not be grim.
When we turn away from wickedness, and look steadfast into His face,
He will hear us well, and do marvels indeed and fill us with His grace.
With sins forgiven, and communion restored, your days will blessed indeed,
You'll know His healing in all you do, and with His blessing you will succeed.(RP)

We are rejoicing in the the two nights of wonderful sleep Margie has experienced since being home.   What a blessing!  She is adapting slowly to the Event Recorder which hangs in pouch (which I fabricated last night) around her neck .  It is a sophisticated gadget and when she feels a different pattern in her heart beat or breathing, she presses a button.  This signal is processed, then sent to a cell phone especially for this machine which turns on and gives her about 8 options from which to choose to describe her condition. She presses that, and in the next window, she is asked if this condition appeared as a result of heavy activity or when at rest.  Several other options are give from which she must choose the one that best describes her condition.  It is not as hard as I have probably sounded here, but it is a marvelous way for corporate headquarters to keep track of her progress.  Her special cell phone-like device sends all information to them where it is stored under her name in their computer.  The doctors even programmed her event recorder to detect the problems even if she is not able to go through the "ritual" outlined above.  She will wear this for an entire month.  Thanks so much for praying.
