We were delighted with the good turn out to the Bible class yesterday. Again all chairs were taken. We had three new members. Our son and grandson also arrived yesterday so we have a nice time when they are here. Of course they are busy making necessary repairs and improvements on their rental home here so keep plenty busy with that. Thanks for your prayers. LATER. OUR SON, WE JUST LEARNED, FROM OUIR GRANDSON, LEFT HERE EARLY THIS MORNING FOR HIS HOME. HE GOT SICK DURING THE NIGHT AND DIDN'T WANT TO EXPOSE US TO WHATEVER HE MAY HAVE. WE ARE SORRY AND KNOW YOU WILL PRAY ALSO FOR HIM. THANKS.
About the Poulsons
- Ralph and Margie
- The Poulsons served with ABWE in Brazil for 25 years. Their son Rawlie was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil and their daughter Joy in Iquitos, Peru. Joy was born developmentally disabled and eventually they returned to the States to find help for her. God providentially led them to Shepherds Baptist Ministries, Inc. where she has been a resident for 43 years. The Poulsons returned to Northeast Brazil to the town of Natal and Ralph was Director of the Berean Seminary for a few years. Because of health concerns, they returned to their home town of Ferndale, WA in December of 1980 and later their home church, First Baptist, called Ralph to pastor the church. After 18 years at First Baptist, at age 68, Ralph resigned and he and Margie prayed for the Lord to lead them to their next ministry. Shepherds Baptist Ministries, Inc., asked them to consider being a western representative in 8 states. For 10 years we represented Shepherds in the 8 western states, including Alaska. What a privilege it has been and we continue now at home doing various projects for Shepherds so that I can care for Margie as she recovers.
