GIVE GOD A CHANCE

Luke 18:27 But He said, "The things which are impossible with men are possible with God."

Have you come to the end of your rope, and don't know what to do?

Are their problems too difficult to handle alone, and you are in a stew?

Maybe you need Jesus to be your Savior, or there is something more.

God takes the impossible and makes it possible; your life He will restore. (RP)

DO YOU WANT TO DO GOD'S WILL/

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." (I Thessalonians 5:16-18)

It's easy to get lazy in these three things; let's make a change today.

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing,and give thanks along the way.

This is God's will for you, my friend, so begin by obeying right now.

And when you do things God's way, all that is left is to say wow! (RP)

ARE YOU HIDING SOMETHING?

"You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven."

Matthew 5:14-16

Christians are the light of the world, whose life shines for Jesus each day.

Like a city on a hill we cannot hide; and if we do then we disobey..

Keeping others from seeing the light is something God strongly forbids.

If we are not doing this we are in danger, and definitely are on the skids.

Fellow-believers, let your light shine so the lost will see Jesus in you.

Then they will turn to our Savior, and a new life in Jesus pursue.  (RP)

"ALL THINGS" MEANS "ALL THINGS"

Rom. 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

Each day on this earthly pilgrimage, we wonder about many things,

How God allows things to happen, and a sense of wonder it brings.

But we know our Father ordains them all, according to His will.

He often tells us, "Just know I am God, my child; please be still."

And some day in our heavenly home perhaps He will review our past.

We will see clearly that our Savior's loving care can never be surpassed. (RP)

THANKS FOR PRAYING

A WORD FOR CHRISTIANS

For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.

  Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord I Thess. 4: 16-17

A WORD FOR CHRISTIANS

Dear Christian, you know,one of these days our earthly journey will end,

Jesus' glorious coming will be real, and eternity with Him we will spend .

Jesus showed us our sin, and we confessed them, and he saved our soul.

And on our quick trip to heaven He will transform us and make us whole.

Be busy for Jesus, and tell the lost how they can choose heaven's best.

And be rewarded because you tell them, how in their future to invest.  (RP)

A LESSON FROM JEREMIAH

Jeremiah 29:11  For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

Jeremiah wrote this years ago, to exiles who were far away,

Even now his words ring true for some who may be in dismay.

If you belong to Him right now, be sure He has plans for you.

Get back into fellowship with Jesus, and see what He will do.

His future for you is bright, and filled with blessings and hope,

Learn to abide in Christ; then with all other things you can cope.  (RP)

GOD'S HANDIWORK IN NATURE

The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork.  Psalm 19:1

Everywhere in the heavens God's glory shines through, the work of our Father's hand,

Each thing in its place as designed by Him and functions just as He planned.

One cannot look at God's handiwork and deny that He did it all,

And we stand amazed in His universe, and see His works large and small.  (RP)
