WORSHIP GOD THIS WAY

Ro 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

How better can one worship God than by giving Him all that you are,

Our body presented to Him, is a sacrifice that's far beyond par.

At church today, my friend, present this reasonable service to Him.

And during the worship hour, pray, and to God sing a praise hymn. (RP)

THERE'S TIME TO MAKE A CHANGE

"Righteousness exalts a nation, But sin is a reproach to any people."

 Proverbs 14:34

We live in a sin-laden world, where mankind is lost and undone.

No hope without Jesus is their destiny, and most from Jesus run.

Thank God His righteousness will bring hope, if they trust in Him,

Asking forgiveness for sin, and salvation from a life which is grim. (RP)

ONLY GOD GIVES THIS KIND OF LOVE

Co 13:1 ¶ Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.

We may think we really have love, but it may be superficial at best.

Only God by His Spirit, can give us the best that can be possessed.

This love is given us by His Spirit, because we believed in His name,

Now go into a lost world that is dying, and this gospel message proclaim.  (RP)

 John 8:36  Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

Independence Day speaks of freedom for one and all,

I pray that on this special day, upon the Lord we'll     call.    

Those in Christ are free indeed and this we can't deny,

Spiritual freedom is precious, coming from God on high.

If you are lost without Christ, come, get salvation today,

Trust what Jesus did for you; you'll be free without delay. (RP)

ONE LETTER MAKES THE DIFFERENCE

 1Jo 1:8-9 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.  If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

One letter makes a difference when you read God's Word, dear friend.

Read it carefully, word by word; this I strongly to you recommend.

If you say you have no sin, God says you deceive yourself.

When one says God forgives sins, then he is honest with himself.

Notice you must confess those sins, for God's cleansing to take place,

When this is done God's way, then you are the recipient of His grace. (RP)

CHECK OUT YOUR TEACHERS

Ac 17:11 These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.

We need to imitate the Bereans; they listened to Paul teach the Word.

They checked God's word to see if it matched what they heard.

Oh that we would copy them, and always examine everything taught,

Then we would know the absolute truth, and never again get caught.  (RJ)

Ec 9:10 Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going.

Solomon had strong ideas of what life would be for the saint.

The warning: do all you can now, so later there’ll be no complaint.

Work for the night is coming, when every man's work is done.

Do all you can for Jesus now; in eternity there is not a rerun. (RP)
