Philippians 2:3  

Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.

The easiest path is to want our own way, being selfish in all that we do,

But remember these words given long ago; read them and pursue.

In God's Word we are instructed to be humble, my friend; listen and obey, 

Esteeming others more than yourself, means you are doing things God's way.(RP)

Rawlie is here with us.  He arrived last night.  It is always nice having him here.  Nathan will be here later.  They will continue their work on the Vista house, preparing the lower level for occupancy, so they don't have to rent motel rooms when they come to Ferndale. Not a bad idea.  This morning we will have coffee at Starbucks before he starts his day.  I will probably drop by the garage sale at the church to see how things are going there with the young people's project.  Yesterday we saw quite a few cars there throughout the day.
