God's gracious ways explain so well what he
has planned for us,
His way of life is meant for us,andoh what a marvelous plus.
He gives us joy both now and again when in
His presence we land,
And then in Heaven we'll know it well,
because we'll have it all firsthand. (RP)
We arrived early for our appointment with the specialist at Swedish hospital. Thankfully they took us right away. The doctor put a special tool up my nose and Rawlie and I watched as he explained what was happening in the vocal chords. They are not closing properly. During surgery he had already injected them, hoping this would help solve the problem. He set March 7 for the next surgery on my chords. He will go through the mouth. Yes, I will have to be "out" even though the procedure will not take long. It will be an in and out situation, but he described some of the discomforts following the procedure. All this is only temporary. If my voice returns to my satisfaction (or not), they can do also a more permanent procedure. So all we can do here is PRAY. Thanks for helping me this way.
