BLESSED WEEKEND

I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever; with my mouth will I make known Your faithfulness to all generations. Psalm 89:1

Even though we may not sing, our hearts sing praises to Him,
He is near us all the time and with Him hope never grows dim.
We pledge to speak to others of His wonderful grace to us,
And be ready always this very important issue to discuss.(RP)

We were blessed by the ministry of pastor Jim Godwin. We have known him for many years and it was a pleasure seeing them again. Jim and Carloyn Hively treated us all to lunch after church. We had a great time visiting and recounting past days in the ministry. Neither one of us did real well last night as far as rest is concerned. We hope tonight is better. I am awaiting word from the doctor concerning the lab work done on the specimen taken from my throat. Thanks for praying.

About the Poulsons

My photo
Ralph and Margie
The Poulsons served with ABWE in Brazil for 25 years. Their son Rawlie was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil and their daughter Joy in Iquitos, Peru. Joy was born developmentally disabled and eventually they returned to the States to find help for her. God providentially led them to Shepherds Baptist Ministries, Inc. where she has been a resident for 43 years. The Poulsons returned to Northeast Brazil to the town of Natal and Ralph was Director of the Berean Seminary for a few years. Because of health concerns, they returned to their home town of Ferndale, WA in December of 1980 and later their home church, First Baptist, called Ralph to pastor the church. After 18 years at First Baptist, at age 68, Ralph resigned and he and Margie prayed for the Lord to lead them to their next ministry. Shepherds Baptist Ministries, Inc., asked them to consider being a western representative in 8 states. For 10 years we represented Shepherds in the 8 western states, including Alaska. What a privilege it has been and we continue now at home doing various projects for Shepherds so that I can care for Margie as she recovers.
