God allows troubles in our lives as we live down here, And we who experience these things, it is very clear.
Before our afflictions our tendency was to wander away,
And we did not have direction and we often lost our way.
Thank God for the hard times He allows us to go through,
Because they turn us toward God's word and keep us true.(RP)
My brother Harold came to our house after his work day here in Ferndale, and we enjoyed a meal together and a nice visit. He is here on special assignment to do electrical work. We are happy he will be with us for several days at least. Today I take Margie to the retina specialist. She will have another shot in her eye plus the other testing they do. The weatherman predicts rain today and tomorrow. We'll see if it comes. My brother hopes so. He loves the rain. Thank you for your prayers.
