Joshua 1:8
This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
God gives specific orders when it comes to the Bible we read
We are to mediate faithfully and its teachings diligently heed.
We do this both night and day as we learn to observe the law,
And keep on doing it patiently and determining not to flaw.
God promises our way will be prosperous and success will be our lot,
If we are solid in our convictions and give it all we ought.(RP)
The wind is blowing hard with the rain. I take Margie to the hairdresser this morning and this after I officiate at a memorial service. Our son is helping me also. He will sing a solo and lead the congregational song. Pastor Dave and I will do the other things. I have the message. Thanks so much for praying for Margie who got very little sleep last night.
