"For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age," Titus 2:11-12
Believers in Jesus are saved by God's grace, and are grateful for what He has given.
They rejoice in the freedom salvation gives, and for their sins that have been forgiven.
Denying the ungodly past, with its lusts, they press onward with joyful and glad hearts.
Fully aware that to live soberly and righteously now, is something only God imparts. (RP)
