1Th 5:18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

POULSON UPDATE

I can't escape this verse today, it's a special  lesson for me,

My specialist took pictures of my throat that he wanted me to see.

My left vocal chord, though weak, is performing quite well; I'm glad.

I aspirate liquids and this is a concern; I sip water, but only a tad.

The decision is mine, if I want to "eat" food the normal way.

The consequences are unknown; only doing it will I know if it's okay.

He suggested I stop the swallowing exercises, and see how things go.

I have done over sixty three thousand of them, so now It's time to go slow.

If my coughing persists, and troubles appear, then it's time to say "woe."

He stated that If I am doing well, and decide to keep it this way,

Just let him know, and he'll be here to help, and that without delay.

I thank the Lord for God's peace and grace, in such a time as this.

And I know full well that in any other mindset, I would be remiss. (RP)
