John 15:7 If you
abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it
shall be done for you.
Abiding in Christ is
the place to be, to have all he wants you to be,
In fellowship sweet
you walk with the Lord and both of you do agree.
Prayer is special
when you abide in Him, He gives what you request,
And living this way
is the best for you, and you know it because you have rest. (RP)
This afternoon is Joyce Pulling's memorial service. Joyce has been our friend for quite a few years. We look forward to telling Joyce's spiritual story, using her Bible that she marked so well. What a joy to go through it in preparation for today's message. Margie goes to the hairdresser this morning, then will accompany me to the inurnment service at the cemetery. It is very cold so we must be careful. Snow is predicted for tonight. Thanks for praying.
