The heart of the gospel is given here in words so simple and plain,
God laid our sins upon Jesus you see, and won't be repeated again.
When Jesus gave His life for us that day long ago on the cross,
He purchased salvation with His precious blood and we remember the cost,
The righteousness of God is ours by faith and oh what a gift this is,
Eternal life is ours through Him and the glory is solely His. (RP)
What a nice day it is. We can definitely tell summer is ending. It is cooler. We look forward to Sunday School and church this morning. We had a visit with my brother on Skype last night from Anchorage, but finished the conversation when he had a terrible episode of pain, following kidney stone surgery earlier.
