GARDENING

The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

When righteous men and women pray, their prayers are heard, I know, 

And Christians who delight in this, are in communion with Him and grow.

The world has no idea of the value of prayer, but we know it is worth much,

And such a pleasure to talk to God, and have His tender touch

.So keep on praying, friends, your prayers are valuable indeed,

And God will bless us all, because His will you did not impede.(RP)

The other day at the garden shop, Margie picked out a tomato and cucumber plant.  We have had a lot of fun watching them grow.  Today I plan to replant them in larger pots and put a trellis up so the cucumbers have a place to climb.  The tomatoes are on a small bushy plant and don't grow tall.  It is all new to us so this is the first time in my 83 years to even handle such things.  But it is fun and we will see what happens.  Rawlie arrives today.  His family is already here.  We will hopefully all have lunch together.   Thanks for your prayers,
